Svet Knihy Praha

The biggest celebration of books in the Czech Republic.

Every year the literary festival presents close to 800 participating writers, illustrators, translators, experts and other players from the book industry in 650 accompanying programmes. The book fair and the festival present guests from over 30 countries of the world.

The Petőfi Literary Fund will represent Hungary and Hungarian literature in Prague.

Mátyás Sirokai: Lomboldal (Green side)

The book launch with the participation of the author and the translator will be moderated by poet Jaromír Typlt.

The book is translated by Robert Svoboda and published by Protimluv.

Dóra Elekes: Dettikéről és más istenekről (About Dettike and other gods)

The book launch will take place with the participation of the author and the translator. Actor Tomáš Turek will read parts of the book.

The book translated by Robert Svoboda is published by Malvern.

György Spiró: Diavolina

The launch taking place with the participation of translator Robert Svoboda and literary historian Jenő Gál will be moderated by publisher-publicist Zdenko Pavelka.
